Hello from your eCare School Nursing staff!!! It has been a great start to the school year and we are

excited to be a part of your school. For those of you who may not know us we are a group of

experienced school nurses that are available to your children through telehealth technology. We are

based out of Sioux Falls, SD and provide care to 20 schools and counting.

How does it work? At any time during the school day, a school staff member can request a consultation

for a chronic or urgent health care need. Within minutes a registered nurse is available via video to

assess the situation and advise the staff member on how to help your student. After the call is

completed, the eCARE school nurse will contact the student’s parents as needed to communicate

information about the visit, so if you see an unfamiliar (605) number it just might be the nurse! J We

see students for diabetic management, asthma, seizures, everyday injuries and much more.
