Music Boosters Family,

First off, I want to say how very appreciative I am for parents and students who have made bars, shown up, tore down, and worked shifts to support the music boosters’ program. This is my fifth year working for Velva Public School, and my music department has been so incredibly lucky to have this group help with extra expenses. The support and hard work do not go unnoticed and truly thank you.

Last year a supportive parent ran the winter concessions. Unfortunately, this year that person is unable to do it again. We have been unable to fill that position within the music booster’s community.  Due to the workload that comes with my professional career, I simply cannot take over all the added responsibilities that comes with running the concessions stand. I have taken my concerns to the administration, and they support my decision. Moving forward I will be handing over the responsibilities of the winter concessions to another school organization.
