Mrs. Aaseth – 4th Grade

I have lived in Velva for almost all of my life.  My family moved here when I was eight years old, and I have been here ever since.  My husband, also a native of Velva, along with my sons Kaedyn and Koltyn reside on a farm south of Velva.

I attended Minot State University, where I majored in elementary education.  I earned my bachelors degree in December of 2000.  After graduating, I spent half a year substitute teaching for three area schools.  In the fall of 2001, I became a home visitor for Early Explorers Headstart in Velva.  Then, the following fall of 2002, I began teaching sixth grade at Velva Public School.  This is my seventeenth year teaching at Velva Public School.  I am currently teaching fourth grade, but I have also taught fifth and sixth grade.
